PREPARING YOUR BO SSAM

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Remove your pork shoulder from the package and place it cut side down in a roasting pan or rimmed baking sheet.

Place the pork in the oven and let it roast for 60-90 minutes, or until it is warmed through, browned, and crispy on the outside. You can check to see if it is ready by poking a skewer or knife into the center. If you feel any firmness or resistance, you need to keep heating. If the knife slides in easily all the way then the pork is warm in the center.

Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes. During this time the center will continue to warm but the outside will cool a bit.

Grab two spoons and begin to tear the pork apart. It should shred easily into bite size chunks of pulled pork.

Grab a lettuce cup and place a few tablespoons of pork inside. Top it with the sauces, pickles, and herbs of your choice. Enjoy!
